Problem with torch coral???

    Hey all, My torch has a little problem, well i think. Its skeleton is splitting. It has done that once before and the peice just fell off after a couple of weeks but now its starting again and im pretty sure its the same spot. Should i be worried??? :confused:

    looks like its below the part thats alive so i wouldnt be too worried but it is kinda strange.

    That's Bazzar Marc. Never seen that before. It is below the polyps but something is going on there. Are the pieces solid calcuim or is it soft or mushy

    Who knows, maybe it's ridding of it to create a better one. It's an old skeleton piece with no life, right? I wouldn't worry, unless it starts dying off unexpectedly.

    Its an old part of the skeleton. Its hard not soft J. Like i said it did that before. When the piece fell i picked it up off the sand and tossed it. But its defenetaly its skeleton. It is not affecting the polyp, it still inflates everyday. I see nothing wrong with the torches polyps. Just that darn skeleton splitting.
