I don't think this is an issue but I figured I would post it before it becomes one. I got my maxima two days ago and it doesnt seem to be fully opening like I saw it in the prior tank. It still opens and responds to any stimulus by closing. It is under stronger lighting than before. I believe it was under 250w halides but far off center and about 24 inches under water. It is now under my 250 halide only about 15 inches under water.

I have about 55x tank turnover rate but it is in a medium flow area. There is a large trac brain sitting right next to it that opens fully and is happy in the flow.

I have been feeding my usual coral food, frozen cyclops, to the whole tank as usual.

Not sure but i will bump.

Params look good. All i can say is from my experience that a few of my corals have taken a few days to get back to where they were when i bought em'.

I dont have a clam tho so i cant speak to that specifically :)

It's probably just adjusting to your tank and the additional lighting.
