    Hello Everyone,

Last week I received one of a few preproduction multichannel 24inch 20k XB fixtures for my Nuvo 16.

This week was busy for me with work and school, so I am just now getting around to posting this.

The light is amazing!! Build quality and aesthetics are 10/10. At first I was a little worried about the tank mounts, but they solid and grip the tank edges really well. There is a slight "disco effect" behind small overhangs and holes in the rock, but it is hardly noticeable and nowhere near as bad as some other fixtures on the market.

Since I don't have a PAR meter, I'll just say I am currently ramping all channels from 3% to 30% and my corals/anemones love it!!

Channel one are the 405/420/450's and it has a beautiful deep violet hue that I love.
Channel two are the other 450's plus 470, which adds a nice layer of almost turquoise blue, and in combination with channel one every pigment in the tank is jumping up and down!!
Channel three are the 3000/6500 whites, which balance the spectrum out nicely with a touch of red/pink from the warm whites.

When all three channels are on, the resulting spectrum is right fantastic!

Controls: Apex Jr / Energy Bar 8 / VDM module 1-10v
    Works like a charm!!

    Here is my code:
    Channel One: Control Type Advanced
    Fallback OFF
    If Time 07:00 to 11:15 Then Dawn1
    If Time 11:15 to 15:30 Then Day1
    If Time 15:30 to 19:45 Then Dusk1
If Time 21:00 to 06:59 Then OFF
If Temp > 86.0 Then OFF

    Channel Two: Control Type Advanced
    Fallback OFF
    If Time 07:00 to 11:15 Then Dawn2
    If Time 11:15 to 15:30 Then Day2
    If Time 15:30 to 19:45 Then Dusk2
If Time 21:00 to 06:59 Then OFF
If Temp > 86.0 Then OFF

    Channel Three: Control Type Advanced
    Fallback OFF
    If Time 10:00 to 14:15 Then White_Up
    If Time 14:15 to 18:30 Then White_Down
If Time 18:31 to 09:59 Then OFF
If Temp > 85.0 Then OFF

    %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Dawn and Dusk are ramp profiles 3% to 30% for 255 minutes.
Day is a ramp from 30% to 30% from 255 minutes. I did this because the Apex wasn't holding the last ramp value.
White is a ramp from 3% to 30% or 255 minutes.

These pics have all three channels at 30%.

Well done. The tank looks great and your cabinet wiring is very clean.

Yeah, I got tired of waiting and knowing the price will be more I went ahead and bought a standard XB super actinic. Just ordered last night.
I wanted the multichannel to see if I could get some shimmer going with some whites. (since I am all T5) I'm excited.
    Keep us updated. Very nice.

I wish my iPhone camera could process the blue lights so I could demonstrate the controllability, but you probably get the picture.

The 405/420/450nm channel is analogous to the UVL Super Actinic bulbs of yesteryear.
