    u can use the cup method, the link advised against using a spoon to stir the water.

    wal-mart or fishing/bait shops sell those d-battery operated air pumps with stones. for keeping bait alive. there cheap. go get 2 of those.

    Thanks everyone for the advice. Thankfully it was only a 3 hour power outage. My dad had a battery back up supply or whatever it's called and my mom found an old bubbler in the garage so we hooked that up to the battery backup. And thankfully everyone survived and is doing ok

    3 hours is not bad at all. Keeping temp in the house a decent level should not have been an issue is southern cali.

    just having those air stones ready for the next time will help, ive kept fishes etc alive for 48hours+ with those in coolers.
