Damn that sucks. Im in New Jersey. About a month ago we had a terrible storm. I lost power in my house for a week. Had to move my whole tank to my buddies across town.

Wrap the tank in towels. It will help with heating. Keep the room at 70+ degrees if possible. and check around for airstones and a battery powered pump. (petco might have the airstones, ours does.. ) Better stay up all night and keep the tank moving with water air! Sorry to hear and good luck.

well how long your tank can last would depend on stocking levels and ambient temperature.
i read some people wrap their tanks up to keep them warm, they also use a cup and fill it with tank water and pour it back into the tank, for some gas exchange.
