Po4 reactor media?

Hi i have been using rowaphos gfo in my reactor, but recieved some sera phosvec granules so decided to use that when the rowaphos exhausted itself.

So i did this today, i removed the rowphos and added the phosvec granules.

Problem is i cant get any lift from the phosvec media. I think it could be too heavy?

The pump from the reactor is more than enough to run it, and i guess the water passing over the granules will work in the same way as it would in a media bag.

Has Anyone else out there used this media in a po4 reactor??
