I think I'll give up on my wrasse. is been more than three days and it's nowhere to be seen
Dont freak out yet. I had a Mccosker and he decided to take a ride in the overflow without me knowing. He was missing for 4 months but living down in my sump. Wrasses are good hiders too. During my tank crash and in fall. I assumed I lost my Ornate Leopard wrasse and Vrolicks Wrasse. But the randomly appeared 2 months later once things settled back to the normal.
It just not cool not knowing the condition of the fish and not even seen where t is.
What the do? hibernate like bears?
not eating for that long periods of times?
How did you handled the situation?
Just assumed it was a saddening loss to a feast for the hermit crabs . He didnt fare to well when I found him. For the Mccosker. as for my two wrasses that survived for a long period of time ... They are sand burring wrasses. However Not quite sure if the Flashers are that. Im pretty sure they hide in rockwork. Make sure your tank has a lid on it of some sort. They like to jump!
My tank has a lid on.
Well, lets keep waiting. I have to do another water change to drop my nitrates some more. since is the only param that is high. about 10-20ppm hopefully I can lower it some more and then just keep waiting for wrasse
how you add karma to a person?
clicking the little scale next to the persons on or off button and its inbetween the flag post button.
I added some to you!
and all that helped me, I'll keep you updated as times goes
Your welcome! I hope all turns out well! Ps added you some too! Enjoy your evening. All you can do at this point is relax and scan the tank ever now and then with your eyes
