Please help me pick the best looking rock setup.

    So after I figured out my aquascaping ...I Had to add in base rock :( and that changed everything. so please tell me witch of the following looks the best.


    Option 1. Same as I planned before just with baserock.

    personally I like option 2. I like the shelf

    that is some really cool and distinctive looking rock - some of your formations actually call to mind winged dragons to me. i love it.


    i think the more shelves the better.

    i think 1 will look cool. if you put the rock in first and then the sand around it. it will make a really cool looking effect

    where did you get that rock and what kind is it? is it a specific type? it really is cool looking!

    I like option 1 and 3 would be my next choice.

    The rock is haitian live rock, and I got some from World wide corals and some from a LFS.

    All the bottom rock the clearly dry rock will be under sand. option 1 was my 1st idea...here is the picture before the base rock . I like the more shelfs but really they all have the same amount just going different directions..I really like all 3 and thats my problem...option 1 I really liked before I put the base rock in :( ..option 2 I really really like just not sure if the shelf going to the far rock is a bad idea with to much shadow under it....Option 3 makes a lot of shelf and will have a open middle.

    i personally like the "shelf" look... check my pics and you will see what I did. Planning on adding some more rock... most likely base rock (so I don't start the cycle over again)... Love you taste! Congrats and keep us posted :)

    yes i love your rock! so you like the shelf rock ...but what option do you like the best. :)
