I put plastic wrap I've my reef 75 gallon tank. I have 3 battery air pumps inside. Is this ok or take off plastic wrap? I thought it would hold heat in during this power outage.

I wouldn't hinder it from exchanging gases and getting o2,so yes i would remove it from the top.

I'd take the plastic off the top of the tank. As someone said wrap it with blankets to prevent it from cooling down but the cover of for better oxygen exchange.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If you have a gas hot water heater you can fill containers of display water, place them in the hot water and allow them to warm.

definately remove them from the top of the tank. You are hindering the o2/co2 exchange. Wrap them in blankets and make sure you keep at least half the top open. Hot water bags like coraline said will be good too

I took off plastic wrap from tank and covered entire tank with a blanket. I was afraid of temp dropping with tank only covered up half way. I have 3 battery air pumps in it. Not sure how many hours batteries will last.

Any updates Adam? Did everything make it through? Do you have power again?
