Planning a red sea reefer 525xl build.
I know I'm going to get 2 mp40s and a vectra m1 return pump but lighting is up in the air.

Does it make sense to keep with the ecotech theme and use 3 xr15s and sync everything with the reef link?
Or I was also looking at the hydra26's but then I would have 2 different controllers running everything.
    Thoughts?

The tank is 60x22x22 so 3 of the xr15s or hydra 26's should do the trick.

I would think that 1 controller would be easier than 2. I was very happy with my Radions and doing everything together to me makes sense. That being said, I do not use any controllers on my tank. I keep things as simple as possible (and a lot less expensive!!)

Kinda what I was thinking also.

Does anyone have experience hooking up multiple radions/vortechs/and vectras with the reef link. Is it really as easy as they make it seem?

I've personally never had any experience with ecotech but were planning on the new radions for our reef tank. We literally just went to world wide corals today and was shown how easy it is to sync everything up with ecotech reeflink.
