Pics with my new dslr! Critique please!

Thanks everyone! Gonna read through those links tomorrow at work norg lol

Going up to a big air snowboard competition tomorrow so maybe ill have to bring the camera along and snap some pics!

Since you asked. Did the camera come with any software?
If not you can probably get something for free on the nikon website.
Some pics are a little dark. If you use the software you can tweek photos to make them a little nicer.
On these I cropped to take out too much background and increased the exposure a little to make brighter. Added a little clarity.

Ahhh I c. Those do look better! I will have to work on cropping the pics

 

From my skimming I didn't see if this was posted already.. but in my experience, the closer you are to the glass, the better. Also make sure you're parallel to what you're shooting, so the glass doesn't distort the image.
