    Hello RB,
I have a quick question, I am setting up a new tank (30 Gal, 24 L 24 W and 12 H). I plan on doing a 1-1.5 inch sand bed, and hanging the light pendant style. Would a Photon provide too much light? Would I ever be able to use "100% " of its power, and lastly would the Photon 24 be able to cover the entire spread of the tank with 90 degree optics? Thanks,
    G

Looks like your item is back ordered, any ETA other then what is stated on your website?

IMO i think the 16" will be enough with 120 optics so it will be less intense due to your shallow tank and should cover most if not all of the tank. You may need to have them located someways off of the water surface still to use at 100% intensity I think 24 would be overkill... I dont use these lights but for my 48x24x24 i have 2 18" fixtures leaving 4" between them and the sides and its fine.

I agree, the photon16 with 90s would be ideal

Oh wow, I see now that the 16's actually have 55 LED's vs the 24 with 51. Would the 16 offer enough coverage for the 24 wide cube? THank you.
