Thinking of making my lighting a little simpler when I upgrade to my 100 gallon rimless, I have two ever grow fixtures that are fully controllable. Similar to photon 16s, I am wondering what coverage I would get over my 48x24x20 rimless tank with the photon 48. Will there be a dark spot in the middle because of the gap between LEDs? Also how high would you recommend hanging the light?

No, there will not be a dark spot in the middle. The center piece was put there on purpose, otherwise the brace would block some light. 10" off of the water should be plenty of height to cover your tank fully.

    I have 2 32s above my 72"
No dark area's, in fact the light coverage is amazing.
