Well, I was looking at 3 Photon24's for my 72x24x24 with 90 degree optics, but Now I'm thinking the Photon16's would work better. I have two cross members at the top of the tank so if I did 3 x photon16's with 90 degree optics would this be optimal?

    Thanks.

I think they would work great but why not 3 24's?

3x 24s would be a waste of light side to side, and not as much front to back. I would go with 3x16s.

It would be the same amount front to back. I would use 3 P16s, or 2 P32s with 90s

The 2 x 32"s would make life easier. I wouldn't worry about the braces. The led's do a good job of working around them. You can't even tell my 120 has a center brace and I only have 1 fixture over it. Usually, the only time you want to worry about the brace is if there is a MH above it. They will melt but led's just don't get hot enough. Go with the 32's. You will be more than happy and save a bit of money.

Thanks for the advice guys. I do like the 16's because they are 5 banks and have more whites.

Marty, I think you will come to find that there is plenty of white in them. I run my blues about 10% higher than my whites at all times.

I pulled the trigger in the 16's last night.
