Thanks dude. I am going to knock it off for the night and let the fish mellow. They are off color and looking really stressed, so I have the lights off and will leave them alone until morning.

Pretty good. Everyone is transferred to 2 ten gallon tanks and a 15 gallon tall.

I just got back from the LFS a few minutes ago. I picked up my 90g, some pods and some misc items.

Now I just have to figure out what color to paint the tank. Black or blue.

    Nice

Your old tank looks nice, the new one should be a killer.

    May I ask how much a 90 cost ..??
I have a 55 gal, which I love, but in the future... hee hee

    Good Luck, Larry

I vote for black. Tank contents appear 53% healthier and nearly 4.8% larger with a black backround than blue (only 47% healthier and a measly 3% larger). These are time tested government approved studies.

LOL Spark....Yeah, I had just made up my mind right before I read your post. Black it was and is. I saw a pic in one of Bob Fenner's books of a black painted background and it looked sweet. Really sweet. I have a blue background on my nano and it looks kind of cheeseball. If I did go blue it would be a royal blue. But......I digress.......again. Black it is. Walmart, here I come.

Pharmrjohn, careful with them coralife thermometers. I have had experience with 2 telling me the tank was 2 degrees lower than it actually was. Needless to say ive ditched using em.

Really......I will test it up against my old style and see what it does. I also have it on a ten gallon right now with one of those POS heaters that you cannot adjust. I dislike it. It seemed like a good idea at the time. It says 77.4. and the heater is off, so it is probably a degree low.

Thanks for the warning.....it is appreciated.
