Pfo solaris is it worth it?

    does n e one run the pfo solaris system? is it worth the $1200? does it really support the growth of lps and sps corals?

    wait until the technology becomes proven.
    Till then stick with a cheaper and more used lighting source such as T5

    I have a friend that has one. He is in negotiations now with PFO to find him a solution that will end his Solaris nightmare

    But I understand that the units that are being made now. Are being made in the USA again and they are a lot more reliable

    ya i heard the early units had some problems but i havent heard what. the new units i think are coming out this month. the i series?

    8 week waiting list for the new I models up here in Canada!

    48 inch one costs around $2,800.

    that is INSANE! :eek: you lighting guru's can't come up with a less expensive model? I'll test it for ya!;) with all the brains on this forum, you'd think one of you guys or gals could!!! LED's, they've been out for years, why the price?
