PC Lighting vs MH Lighting?

    FWIW, the use of halides does not equate to the necessity of needing a chiller.

    I don't need one, and I know several other folks that run halides that don't run, and don't need a chiller.

    it gets hot in irvine, i dont live far from there

    It gets hot here too. Turn the AC up and the tank will be fine. If you really need to keep heat at bay, turn off the halides and run the fluorescents. If using PC's, a few will add up to more watts than a couple of 250w halides very quickly.
