My paly fell on to my Short tentacle plate coral, and i'm not sure how long it was like that, only one polyp touched it, but the polyp is still closed, i fed all the other heads around it in hopes that this will help, but their is some white stuff on the closed up head.

    Will it be ok?

It really depends. Plate corals have quite the sting powers. It would depend on how badly it was stung. Best to just watch it. Worst case you would just loose that head

It will probably be ok, but plates can kill with their stings. It depends on how long it was in there. Palys are very hardy corals though. I would gently blow on it with a pippette and try to put it into a medium-high flow area in your tank.
    Good luck ;)

I agree with Jason, I had a sand paly swallowed by my plate and it was rescued by my Peppermint shrimp. It was completely encased by white slime but came back OK.

It was there for at most 8 hours, but i doubt it, because the snail that knocked it over wasn't to far away.

I guess its a waiting game. also will the STPC be ok?
