Does anyone have any advice of what is happening here (1st pic were the tissue is starting to die off)and how I can turn it around. Oh all else is fine and the basics such as temp and parms are fine.
I was thinking would Some sort of dip or something help
    Now.

I have never seen anythink on it but It did fall once onto a colt coral it could be posible it was damaged at this point, the hole has gotten bigger very slowly. I thought it was getting better but it wasnt so.

If the tissue loss is on one particular area your best bet would be to frag it to save the good part on it, I had to do mine that way, and now is thriving and looking very good, but i lost about 1/3 of the coral. perhaps you might can try moving it to a different spot in the tank, mine likes moderate flow and middle ways, it does not like it close to the top or the sand.

BTW!! a dip would just make things worst!

They're pretty sturdy so you have to cut them with either a dremel with diamond blade or a tile cutter. Learned that in frag class yesterday!

I think you have it in to much light maybe from the looks of that photo , These corals are very tough and a semi easy keeper this coral will regenerate new flesh I'd not cut or farg it up no need . Just Make sure you hane it in a med to med Low flow of water enough flow to move the polyps when they are opened , to keep the coral fed and cleaned off . That hole I see was caused from settling detritus that sat on it and burned it . What type lighting do you use ?
