ozonator?

    Anyone ever tried to build one of these? -I intend to try...
    Trying to find out if there is a type of PVC that is ozone proof/safe.
    Anyone with experience in this, please respond! :)

    Im not sure what you mean by "Anyone ever tried to build one of these?" Im assuming that you mean DIY. I dont recommend you "building" one b/c ozone is dangerous, esp. if you dont know what your doing. Please read up on it before attempting. Luna

    Ozonizers use high voltage to create ozone, which is a very reactive form of oxygen. This molecule will break down DOC's and microorganisms. It is typically injected into the protein skimmer. Like UV sterilization, it kills both beneficial and harmful microorganisms. In small doses, though, it can kill off much of your harmful, free-floating microbes while leaving alone most of the beneficial microbes, which are mostly attached to surfaces
