As you guys suggested I will drill my 40 breeder. My plan is for Tuesday. What kind of overflow should I install ( safe and quiet)? Can you guys help me to make a good choice, please. Thanks in advance.

depends on where you are drilling the tank. There's a few different styles. Durso, bean animal etc etc

I want to drill the back. I read like you mention about bean animal also ghost herbie... I want to put wide overflow to skim most surface. Just not sure about holes and what style...2 or 3 of them...

coast to coast is a pretty good option then you can do the bean animal overflow with 3 drain lines, or the Todd Mod with only 2 drain lines. I hear the C2C skims really well and is quiet and the bean animal is supposed to be pretty quiet as well.
