    Not uncommon at all. They're simply rated at 1.3, but are almost always capable of more. I don't know how comfortable I'd feel running them that high continuously, however. ;)

    yeah, i think most companies would err on the side of safety and put a lower rating on things like that, BUT, I'd prob stick pretty close to that.

    Well everything has been ordered! Since Rapid is going to be out of cyan and red LEDs for quite some time, I went to Aquastyle which allowed me to order the 398nm UV LEDs :)

    Unfortunately LEDgroupbuy sent me an e-mail saying that the heatsinks have been delayed and wont be arriving until the end of May :(

    Are these the optics you guys were talking about? 90° Wide Optic Lens for 1W or 3W LED - 10 Pieces Sale | eBay
