Boy Friday got here fast ! RP growth shots. I am now a believer in the theory that the larger a frag gets the faster it grows.

    Five months of growth.

    Frag when I got it.

    Frag at 4 months growth.

And today 11/12/10. The frag is now starting to table.

    Awesome congrats

I can guarantee the larger it gets the faster it grows with corals based on my Stylophora.

    It's so pretty!

Any reason why it is just sprouting out of that one end?

Thanks 2in10 you know I love that coral of yours.

Funny you should ask that, it is now starting to sprout around the edges on the othr side you just can not really see it, but if you look close you can see the small bumbs starting. I guess it just needed to encurst more.

    :)

Mag I have been waiting patiently for yours to arrive. Thanks for the kind words.

You have some nice RP up lately. It is a great corals to have because of the coloration and growth. One of my easier acropora with regard to care. Definitly a more forgiving one.

Growing so fast now, I turned it alittle hoping that it will start growing off the other side of the plug a bit more.

This is a good picture of the new growth with the white tips.

I am going to frag it next month in hopes that if anything happens to the mother coloney I will have something left.

it will grow all off the plug in time! just let it go... by constantly moving it you are just making it go slower ;)

just pick a position and leave it :p

isnt that odd how it grew on that one side and not off the original stalk. I have a Milli doing that.
