I was just at the LFS and they had this beautiful, bright red mushroom. There was just one kinda wedged between two rocks. He said it was attatched to the big one. I only have a 12 gal so of course it was attatched to the big one.

Before I left he asked if there was anything else, I asked him to go snatch the red shroom from the rock (just joking) and he did! He gave it to me free.

I have never done this before, but I know you can use an elastic to secure it to a piece of rock while it attatches.

*What kind of elastic do I use?
*How tight do I put the elastic?
*where in the tank should I place it while it is doing this (lighting & water flow)

I've used thin fishing line to attach mushrooms in the past. I would place him in a low flow low light area until he attaches

I have fishing line. How many times do you wrap it and how tight?

I'm all set, I used super glue. There was just enough rubble on the bottom and I glue it to a small rock. I love it!!

a bit late ;p but i pass over 4-5 times, and crisscross for a total of like 10 passes. And just do it snug enough so it wont move, you dont need to make it very tight.

but ya got it with the glue. looks good btw

I didn't get anything great on my LR. A few tiny feather dusters. That was a good find.

Nice pic, I love pictures. I take so many my husband teases me.:) I love the red mushrooms.
