    okay finally the 10 gallon is filled, almost heated up too, fish and coral, snails will be in there soon.

    Next step, to hellhole cleaning my dead tank

    how long does it take for salt to dissolve? I used instant ocean, and there is still some salts at bottom slightly, i keep shaking the salt in the water, but wont dissolve..

    It should say on the container the earliest time you can use it. Are you using a powerhead to mix it?

    yeah koralia 2 is on the power head currently, normally its pretty quick, hm..

    alright all live stock made it in the 10g tank, so far so good.

    Drained all my water out of tank, what should I do with this sand..I really dont want it but do I need it if I dont want my solana to cycle?

    so throw away my sands? if so, does it go in recycle? or garbage lol, sorry for stupid question

    I never saw much for a cycle. I kept maybe a cup of sand from the old tank to seed the new; I put 20 pounds of new sand in along with all my LR. My levels stayed pretty good.
