    I have a bottle of Kent Marine Esential Ellements that is about 2-3 years old that I got from a friend. Is it alright to use it even though it's a few years old? Also what exactly does this stuff do?

    Essential Elements replaces trace elements that protein skimming can remove.
    I wouldn't advise using it if it's that old. check for a lot number or an expiry date on the bottle.
