    yes they can but poison has to be eaten and venom has to be injected.;D

    I like the part where they say "it's bite can be extremely painfull or even lethal in some cases!" You think?!?:eek: They are one of the most venomous creatures on the planet, death is almost a certainty if you're bitten...
    Who other than Dr. Evil, or maybe Goldfinger would want one of these?

    this is not the case, in captivity the average age of all octopuses is a little over a year. only a few rare cases that they live over 2. their life span in nature however is much shorter, about 8-9 months.
