Ocellaris Clownish floats at surface

    my fish is swimming at the surface of the water and doesnt seem to be able to get down. ive had him for a week now in my 36 gallon tank and he litterally was fine 3 hours ago. very very worried, dont want him to die. there are 2 of them and the other one is fine. Help please

    prob sleeping, thats where mine sleep, like they;re dead on their side! he's prob just getting comfy!

    are your lights on or off? my clowns float around the side, top, corners, thats how they seem to sleep.

    If your lights are on then it sounds like a swim bladder issue. If the lights are off it maybe sleeping.

    ooooohhhhh, yeah, i turned off the lightss a 3 hours ago!!!!!!!! i thought it was a bladder issue! thanks!

    cool dude! Mine float like they're dead until they bump into something and then will swim a bit and die and then repeat!

    No they're clowns so they've probably been eating shrooms!! LMAO!

    It's funny so many clowns have this behavior (mine included). You'd think sleeping on the surface would be terrible for surviving in the wild lol.
