Hello i am a beginner at saltwater and was wondering what was going to be an easier/more fun fish. I have found that the tomato clowns are a bit cheaper but i don't know too much about them.. And i know I need to research them but i want YOUR opinion. I have a 29G long tank and was wondering about what would be better.. I know that the tomatoes get larger and was wondering if I could fit 2 or either in that tank. then also what other cleaners would i put or what would you recommend? thanks!

Dont get a tomato clown... Iv seen fullgrown ones and they are huge and agressive. Stick with the traditional clowns :)

Yes definitly worth the extra money. I mean cmon, when people come over and look at your tank they want to see some traditional clowns! Maybe get 1 black clown and 1 regular occy clown? Thats what i have in my tank and it looks really cool. Good luck!

Im not sure about all species, but a black and regular clowns are good together, how do you think they mate and make black ice and mocha clowns? :) haha but a snowflake and a tomato is a bad idea...

And I know this is probably the #1 asked question on these sites but... Would you use crushed coral or sand/live sand? what would you recommend?

Just get sand. Live sand is a joke and crushed coral is bad because a few ground dwellers dont like it because its sharp and poop and stuff builds up under it, that produces more nitrates.

Get argonite sand from reefrocks, its great stuff.
