I order my mag test kit, but its not here yet. What I want to know is does anyone use oceanic salt in the blue tub? And if so what is are the mag levels when freshly mixed. My Cal and Alc stay stable, so I assumed the would mean my Mag is at least around the range it needs. Just wasn't sure.

although i dont test or use oceanic, if the other two are not going down then they all are going to be at semi-relative levels.

Do you dose kalk or calcium?

Real high. Like 1400. Calcium very high, about 500. Alk low, around 7.

    YMMV of course.

is that legit? do they have these numbers posted somewhere? if it is, i'm living proof. i hadn't tested or dosed my tank in over two months, the only thing i've been doing in maintenance was WC's. tested yesterday, expecting the worst but they came back Cal= 400, Mag= 1380, Alk= 8. i've used nothing but oceanic for the last 8 months.

I dose 2 part. My cal is a little low after water change about 380, alk is good. Just haven't got my mag test kit yet.
