Does zero calcium give a false positive because I definitely showed something. I just re-tested, I may have miscounted my drops the first time but it did show.

    How do you offset it?

Not sure if it does, TBH. But your calcium on pure RODI is 0, if your RODI is actually working correctly, and there's not a gigantic amount of calcium residue in the bucket you're using to hold it.

There's no real reason to offset the high calcium, either. Some people run it that high, since it just means longer until you have to dose, and possibly more growth on some corals. You may have to be careful about alk not falling, though.

Umm I don't!? lol I like it, because I don't have to do water changes as often to replenish it.

LFS aren't exactly guaranteed to be doing their maintenance completely. Can you see/monitor the TDS meters on the RODI unit?

Mine is 9.5. A little lower than I would like, but still an okay number.

I'm going to stop in this weekend and take a look or ask them to test it to verify what I"m getting. If the test they get comes back then I'm going to question my test. Either way, I was just freaked that the levels would be a detriment to the tank, but if them being high has no ill effect then yippee for me.
