Im fighting a bad Cayno problem, finishing up the mini cycle after switching tanks I had this algae bloom. We have been doing regular water changes and even decreased the lights a lot. Any who, I noticed the tiny bug on the cayno this morning, it has neon colors. Is it a nudibranch? Should I remove it?? Thanks!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes, it might be a zoanthid eating nudibranch.

It's beautiful. Unfortunately nudibranch are very specialized eaters, sponge, coral some algae. Once the food source is gone they die.

    Cool hitch hiker.

    Does he resemble your zoanthids?

Can you check to see if any zoanthids are eaten or if there are nudibranch eggs on the zoanthids?

I myself would be tempted to watch him for awhile, if he starts eating coral remove him, but that's just me.
