I recently got close to one of these BioBubble 'multipurpose animal habitats' that has been out for a bit now. I am a bit speechless. Describing it is hard. A dome aquarium that when you release the levers, extends vertically like an accordion. The water empties from the dome allowing you to remove and clean it. When you are done with fish, you can turn it into a bird or animal habitat. I better stick with pics and a video.

it looks like it might also steam rice, double as a dessert serving tray complete with dome, and...a host of other things.

    wow!

That's the funniest thing I have seen all week! How much do these things go for? How big are they? It's like an underwater city in reverse.

Edit: Says it's 3 gallons. More than enough room for a tiger shark!

Edit2: $100 for the bubble without options.

i acutally like it. 3 gallons would be fine for a coral frag tank of minimal proportions.

this is pretty cool, but as i dont see any lighting on it you would have to have an external light fixture to put corals in it. which would pretty much negate the coolness of it IMO.

The light is inside the tank. Watch the video. There is actually a protein skimmer in there too!
