The great attention to detail shows what appears to be an aiptasia in the third picture, I think...Great shots
Somebody has a good eye! holy mackeral!
Awesome pics though- I used to have a sun coral that I loved, but just wasn't around enough to meet its feeding requirements. This is the first I have seen a pink one.
Thanks I love the camera for coral shots
Yeah there's ~5 aiptasias on the colony, I did a good job hiding them all except for one. pic 4 there is one, and pic 5 you can see 2. haha I just figured everyone would be distracted by the coral For whatever reason, the sun coral doesn't mind (actually its unaffected at all) and when the sun coral opens, it usually "beats back" the aiptasia
This is easily one of my favorite corals. If the feeding requirements are met, the rewards are amazing, I can almost watch it grow overnight.
Yeah pink seems to be harder to find, mostly yellows and oranges. but hey, I paid 40$ for the whole colony
been keeping an eye out for sun corals but never came across one yet
Beautiful coral Va!
damn aiptasia, wanting to be in the picture. nice pics
You're telling me, they just have to ruin everything.
