Just wanted to share a nice example of tabling from a purple monti... I had to break some of it off because it was too close to the glass..but its still cool..and it will go another direction...that's just how they are.

Nu-Nu..that's part of the piece I sent to you with the B-nest. ;D
As well as a giant piece of Hurricane...
    Pay it forward.8)

wow. Very nice monti. I've been trying to decide what color I want. After seeing yours I just might go purple.

Very nice. I just glued a monti frag in a similar location - I am curious about flow conditions - do you have pumps nearby?

they seem to be pretty hardy, I have some in high flow, and some in low to moderate flow, all along my overflow, none seem to be growing faster then the other, they're very easy to keep

yup..I have purple..and orange...also a green with a blue ridge...pavona..as well as the hurricane..I would say the one I pictured is in the lowest flow...and it seems to table the most...no difference in growth..all grow well in my tank..just seems that the lower the flow..the more tabling..or abstract growth..ime. :)

    edit...
    to Matt..
all my pumps are top side corners..pointing up down of course..but this would be considered the
    deadest" corner...fyi. : )
