Thanks Nunch! Trust me, I'm not going to promote algae growth! LOL

I guess I have PC now, but, my next big purchase will be lighting, and I think I'll go the T5 route. For now, my tank is flourishing and doing fine. Trust me, I'm 'happy' I don't have algae, hence, no snails yet. I just hope I'm doing all the right things for my tank. Apparently I have 6 weeks or so to make sure. All my water parameters are fine. I haven't killed any fish, so I'm happy.

Just an update for everyone, I have a little brown algae appear over the last two days, some on the glass, some on my powerheads, so today, I bought 3 turbo snails. One question, will the snails go on the powerheads, or should I clean the ph's periodically?

they might, but you need to take em apart and clean em periodically also.

I figured I'd need to clean them now and then. I'm glad I finally started getting algae, so I know my tank is working! I also ordered 3 pajama cardinals, they'll be here next week.

Hey, as long as you're here, how do I add subscriptions for posts I've made? I've checked my options, and there is a section, but it's 'send me email notification'. Or do I have to subscribe to each thread individually?

where it says default thread subscription put "no email notification" instead of "no subscription". you'll still subscribe to your threads automatically but you won't recieve the emails.
