I just bought the $95 thing and it came with everything from head to toe.
15lb fiji live rock, 20lb live sand, bag of salt, filter, heater, theromostat, hood, light, and 5 fish, the one i listed.

I knew the tang and 5 small fish was too big for the 12 gallon tank. So I am getting rid of them soon as possible. Alreayd got one call from some1 saying he will buy all 3 fish. So I am just planning on keeping 2 fish for now, and maybe add 1 goby or 1 clown fish later.

well i waited 2 day and nobody is buying them. So in 1 hour im going to go give them to petco. 1 tang and 2 damsel. And keep 1 clown and 1 damsel.
Should i buy cleaner shrimp while im there?

do you have a test kit yet? moving the tank and all may have started a mini-cycle..

If you have no clean up crew (snails, hermits, etc) i would get those first instead of a shrimp

If so when I get home do i just put them in tank as soon as i come home?

snails and hermits mainly..later on you can get some different stuff but right now i'd just get those two..Just tell whoever is working there about your tank and they should be able to help you out..

    edit:
oh yeah..about the acclimating...when you get them home float the bag in your tank for 15-20 minutes to get the temperature equalized..

(i usually just drop them in after the temperature acclimation..but if you want to..)

pour the water in the bag and the snails/hermits into a small bucket..every 10 minutes or so add a scoop of your tank water into the bucket until the water in the bucket has doubled..(should take about an hour)..you should be okay after this..then just drop the snails/hermits into your tank and DISCARD the water in the bucket..you may need to mix up some more saltwater to top your tank off since you scooped some out

But should I add the cleaner shrimp later too?
