newbie question

    I have a brand new 37 gallon tank setup with nothing in it but water and course sand.
    This week end I plan to buy Instant Ocean Sea Salt and a test kit and I would like to also get some Cured LR.
    My question is should I go ahead and get say 20-25 pounds of base rock and 5-10 pounds of Cured rock all at once?
    From my research I've done it should be ok, but I want to hear from those that have traveled down that road before me.
