    Its a bit hard to see the pic is it a hard or soft growth.

    Yeah, it is hard to see, very small pic. Does it move? If it stays put, I'd leave it and keep an eye on it. I'm pretty sure you're faster than it! BTW Welcome to 3reef!!:wave:

    Try this

    The wifes camera works great until you need a 97k picture, I think it started at 1mb. I'll see if I can do a better job with the space available.

    I think it is soft. It has grown considerably since it hit the tank (6 hours ago). Sponge sounds right, but I'd still love to know.

    is it really hard? It kinda looks like a sun polyp skeleton to me.

    leave it there and keep an eye on it. if it is dead it'll turn whatever colors are on your lr...
