be sure you mount your lights at least 12 inches above the tank and the temp shouldnt get too high, my 2 250's keep my tank at 79-81 degress,

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Can you put up any screens to acclimate your corals?

What is the brand of bulbs?

Go slow, I tell you that because I have made the mistake of going too fast ( what I considered slow), and seen photo shock.

Do not under estimate the heating issue with MH and do you have any fans?

Fans and new bulbs are first on my list. These bulbs look pretty old one looks kinda new the other looks yellow. Going to order phoenix 14 k from SOS unless someone has any other advice on bulbs. I'm gonna do 3 hours for the first two days and start bumping up 30 min a day. Also if I go with Cree 3w royal blues (3 sections of 4 bulbs 12 total ) will that be ok for actinics?
