new to clams

    after the descision to upgrade to MH the idea hit me that i could have clams under MH, only problem is that my tank is 8 gallons, its been setup for 9 months and the big bad 3 are all at 0 (trites trates and ammonia) is it possible to have a clam?

    Possible, yes.

    Good idea, probably not. The tank is too small IMO, making swings in temp and sg more likely. Add to that the size that clams can grow to quickly (months).

    JM2C and I almost always say go for it, if you have the lighting and the tank is stable.

    ok so that kind of confused me, is that a go for it? or dont? because i rarely have swings IMO all my other corals are doing great
