Question. If I were to buy a tank stand set with matching hood...what modifications would I make to the lighting??? Would I just change the bulbs for coral???

What's the best filter for reef? Skimmer, sand, heater, skimmer?

I wouldn't waste your money on that set-up. You will kick yourself later. Atleast buy power compact lighting. I only use powerheads for circulation.

Buy a tank without the lights. Then buy pc, t5, or halide fixture for it.

That tank pictured is for FW not salt. You may think you are getting a deal but you will spend more later on with parts left over if you go that way. They do sell Reef Ready tanks that you need to look into if you want a package deal. You also need to decide what you are going to grow in the tank too and buy lights to feed that.

Hey Marc, i would go with Metal Halides, they may cost a bit more but if your looking for a reef you cant go wrong, the best combos IMO are metal halides with T5's
