I just started my tank and it is my first tank. I was wondering if since it has not cycled yet if it matters what type of live rock I use to fill it up.

It doesn't really matter what kind of live rock you use whatever you like most. Did you have a certain type in mind?

and I don't have a preference yet I just wasn't sure if it needed to be cured or if dry rock was okay. I was trying to find out if there is a way I don't have to buy 300$ in rock.
