So I have the 28 gallon and we outgrew it instantaneously and want to go around 200. So my first place to look was craigslist to see if anyone has an awesome deal. I dont want to buy one just to buy one at this point though and want to make sure that what I get is what I will be happy with in the long run.

My major question is, for the new tank it seems like getting one with built in overflow box(s) is the way to go but I may be wrong. Are standard bulkheads just as good? I dont want to do this twice so I want to know the pros and cons.

    Thanks

In my opinion. It is better to buy a tank that is already drilled. If you want to pinch pennies or have a solid DIY wish, Buy a cheap tank and go to Glass holes.com It is perfectly safe to drill your own tank. I drilled my own 150 gallon overflows and return lines.

As for me, DIY has grown tiring and cumbersome.
