New Sump, live rock or sandbed?

Right on, thanks for all the help guys. I don't like the idea of trapping any more detritus so bare bottom it is for now. But i think i will put in a shallow sand bed later this week and keep some tiger tails down there to help eat whatever detritus does make it into the fuge.

The old sump has been offline for 4 days now, i have 60 gallons of water ready so now it's time to re-plumb everything and get it back online, and get a biiiiig water change done. hopefully all before the super bowl festivities get underway. I'll post up once i get everything rolling, let you know how it all works out.
