    I just needed to re silicone my sump... The box says its needs 48 hrs to cure for aquariums... is it going to hurt if i just wait like 12? will the silicone leach or anything!?!?!

    I'd let it go as long as you can so that the silicone has the time needed to cure. Are you worried about the sump being offline? Recently I was away for a week, I just took a heater and placed it in the DT and took the sump offline while I was gone. So you should be fine for a couple days while it cures IMO.

    If you resealed the tank and there is any chance of seperation, let it cure. much easier to wait than clean up a mess and start over.

    Yeah i was worried about its being offline... I have the heater and the powerheads still going in the DT... It just amazes me how clear it stays just because of live rock...
