The monster freshwater fish can get very pricey like Stingrays/Arrowana etc but the common fish for planted tanks are indeed dirt cheap.

Plants are incredibly cheap as well, I stocked my entire 75 gallon tank full to the brim with nice high light plants for cheaper than the cost of a medium sized ricordea!!

50 posts until I can see the market!!!!

Yowzaa, I am going to have to start spamming threads (JK)...I don't even want to buy anything yet, I just love to look through the threads to see whats out there. The ultimate window shopping haha.

Also what is the karma thingy about? If I have good Karma will I avoid algae problems :)

if someone says sonething you agree with or you like or something you can give them karma, and if you say something someone likes they can give you karma, so people with al the karma are nice and informational.

yeah I am loving it... so much more colorful. And i love how much diversity of life there is in the rocks. I had so much fun identifying all the hitchhikers that came with my live rock.

haha I know, I keep seeing new stuff. I just saw my first stomatella the other day, very neat looking. Saw an asterina starfish, doesn't seem to bother any of the corals so I will keep it in. I really love the bristle worms and the brittle stars, so cool when they come out of hiding. The biggest worm I have right now is about 6" long, as soon as the food hits the water, he sticks his head out of a hole waiting for a tasty morsel.
