This looks cool. Only 6 watts. Anyone using them?
Matt, Anne's boyfriend, picked up a few. Fairly cool, not a soft start though, so no wave machine timers. Kinda big too. Funny thing is, the pump is really small, the globe adds a lot to size.
Thanks G. Good to know. Weird about the soft-start. I would think Eheim would have that down.
I haven't seen one around here (Atlanta). I'll ask one of my LFSs to order one. He's into geeky stuff like me. [smiley=square.gif] Then I'll be able to take a look at one.
Any idea how much they cost??
Obviously you didn't click on that link. ;D
20 bucks for that model.
My buddy will give you his, he hates em. He's got a wave-machine (timer) and can't use them. They grind like a rio when starting.
Matt- Ehiem has lowerred their standards. The high end approach hasn't been helping them, so about 2 years ago they started the entire spectrum approach. It basicly started with the Liberty filters.

UGH! I like Eheim stuff.
I'm not saying don't buy Eheim, just, check its quality vs price.
Gotcha. They run the spectrum now. Not just high-end.
