    Well you asked...so we delivered! or will rather UPS will...to your door for free if you live in Florida. Overnight to everywhere but the Panhandle. $25 order minimum.

    New Shipping Prices and Free Shipping Thresholds- :):angry::confused:

    The shipping prices went up for Express Mail, but they are a dollar less than last year. The adjustment was made to compensate for the heat pack cost, and the weight of a heat pack in shipping costs. The average Express Mail package still costs more than $36 to ship so we feel your pain too. Here is the new shipping policy:

    "We are now offering FREE USPS Priority mail for all orders over $50, and FREE USPS Express Mail shipping for all orders over $175. Otherwise USPS Express is a flat rate of $28 , and Priority Mail is a flat rate of $9.50. Florida Residents get free UPS delivery service for orders greater than $25."

    It has some :cheesy: and some :(. But when I found out most of our shipments with free Express Mail at $150 cost more than $58 on average we had to change things up a bit.

    Discount Code Caps -

    From now on all current discount codes have been capped at 10%. We are really sorry we had to do this, but as we work the rest of the week to change the prices we are working to keep the total prices about the same after the cap. We had lots of codes we gave out early on before we had a real understanding of costs, and what inventory we are keeping. In many cases we have had to inflate prices because we were worried about certain scenarios that occurred regularly that caused us to lose money before the shipment left. This will fix that and allow us to better serve you.

    Retroactive Discounts -

    Unfortunately we will not be able to apply any retroactive discounts to any orders in the future. What usually happens is a group buy is placed, and near the end a customer finds out about a long lost discount code. After telling the members about it, we find ourselves issuing partial refunds to everyone. Which is fine. The trouble comes in when our software adds the inventory back to the site. We need the software to do this when we do order adjustments, but in the case of a discount it causes inventory inaccuracies and poor service. We hope this policy will reduce the need to backorder items.

    Let us know what you think. The prices will be adjusted throughout the week on our site, so I wouldn't do any comparing yet. We hope these changes will allow us to expand, and carry a few new items when the weather improves.
