    that shark is really cool. i had one for a long while. it doesn't get too big but it can be slightly aggressive.
    nice looking tank btw.

    Thanks! He scares off usually just the more colorful fish, but if he runs into a group, it freaks him out that the don't back down, so he runs off and hides instead.

    i had a rainbow shark in my 55 a long time ago, in the tank were three small oscars, very small. i went on vacation for the weekend and found pieces of it all over the tank. he was about twice the size of the oscars too. that was the last straw for me. then i switched to my pirahnas and now the set up i have now. i like rainbow sharks alot but mine must have really been passive to get beat up by my oscars less than half his size. they werent even mean oscars... well now you know my life story. lol cool rainbow. i hope your experiences keeping it wont end up like mine. your tank is really turning out well. great job!
